Photograph caption dated February 27, 1957 reads "This man works at service station job. Once he was patient in Veterans Admininstration Neuropsychiatric Hospital in West Los Angeles. Then hospital found him home under its Family Care Plan. Now he's improved to where he has been discharded from hospital rolls and is making his own life. He plans to be married soon."
