Description
The Redevelopment Agency of Sacramento created and sent this "Redevelopment Facts" document to occupants and property owners in the Redevelopment Area in April 1959. Its purpose was to inform residents of the Agency's plans, answer questions and concerns they may have, and convince residents to sell their property and relocate so that parts of Sacramento could be redeveloped. The pamphlet also included the boundaries of the Redevelopment Area so that residents would know if they would be affected and reassured them that the Redevelopment Agency would pay for their property, help them find a new place to live, and reimburse them for moving costs.
