Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated December 15, 1960 partially reads, "A 32-year-old bookkeeper, described by his employers as 'meek, polite and brilliant,' was in North Hollywood jail today on suspicion of embezzling more than $13,000. The man, Armando Garcilaso, was arrested at 8 p.m. Tuesday night on suspicion of shoplifting and the money was found in his car during a routine search. He was booked on a charge of grand theft. His wife, Margaret Leonora, who was arrested with him, escaped in the couple's 1961 car while officers questioned her husband, police said. A warrant was issued today for her arrest."
