A view of Pine Avenue in Long beach looking south towards the pier. The building on the left is the State Theatre. The First Municipal Auditorium is visible directly behind the State Theatre. On the right is the Ocean Center building. Cars are parked head-in on both sides of the street and mist obscures the end of the pier. A notice on the entrance to the pier states "Recreation Commission, U.S. Service Men's Club, end of pier".
