Description
"Goodwill Industries moved this month from 707 Q St. into its new area headquarters at 6648 Franklin Blvd. Shown in this photo is a portion of the new Goodwill center, the 8,500-square-foot retail store area which is to be in operation in July ... The new office, shops, and retail facility represents a total investment of more than $1 million. It has a total of some 60,000 square feet of floor space and occupies a 10-acre site. Construction was a joint venture, led by Lawrence Enterprises, Inc., and shared by these contractors: Erickson Construction Co., Nielsen-Nickles Construction Co., John F. Otto, Inc., Campbell Construction Co., Peterson & Associates, Unger Construction Co., and Holdner Construction Co. The Center was designed by Nicholas Tomich, Sacramento architect"
