In 1970, Deauville was renamed Braemar Country Club. Photograph caption dated Oct. 28, 1959 reads, "Three members of the board of directors and Chuck Bishop, far right, general manager of the new five million dollar Deauville Country Club, take part in ground breaking ceremonies yesterday at Tarzana site. Directors from left are K. B. Johnson, Don McAllister and Tony Pereira. Plans call for first 18 holes to be ready for play next summer." Deauville Country Club was renamed Braemar Country Club in 1970 and is located at 4001 Reseda Boulevard in Tarzana.
