Photograph caption dated August 2, 1960 reads, "Katherine Hollingworth, 2 1/2, first baby born at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, seems to prefer groundbreaking to making mud pies as she turns first spade for construction of hospital's second unit. Helping her is her mother, Mrs. Charles L. Hollingworth, 17037 Enadia Way, Van Nuys. At left is Martin Pollard, president of hospital board of directors. Addition will cost $2,100,000."
