Description
Contains two moving pictures pertaining to railroad excursions. The first film is an excursion trip circa 1950s on a Western Pacific RDC (Budd Car) from Oakland to San Jose and return. Shots include the California Zephyr pulling out of Oakland, the Oakland and Niles depots, the San Jose engine terminal, and a Southern Pacific Ferry Boat crossing the bay towards Oakland. The second film dated April 22, 1956, is an excursion trip over the Kentucky House Branch from Lodi to Calaveras Cement Works at San Andreas, CA, pulled by Southern Pacific Engine No. 2521.
