Photograph caption dated November 28, 1963 reads, "William B. Vokes, owner of Vokes Motors in San Fernando, said that the old Pico house at 451 Mission Blvd., San Fernando, will be razed next month to make way for a proposed $80,000 expansion of his auto facilities. The home belonged to the late Katherine Pico Praster, a first cousin to the famed Gen. Pio Pico.
