Photograph of two automobiles in Last Chance Canyon, Kern County, CA, ca.1905-1930. The automobiles are visible on a wide dirt road that runs from bottom center and curves towards the right around a vertical rock canyon wall. A second canyon wall is visible behind the automobiles, while the road is lined with desert bushes. Photoprint reads: "10 miles east of Jawbone Canyon off the old road between Mojave and Randsburg". Originally, the image was captioned as "Two automobiles in Last Chance Canyon, Death Valley, ca.1900-1950".
