Description
Color postcard of Altadena's Christmas Tree Lane (Santa Rosa Avenue), with colored lights on the deodar trees, which were planted in 1865. The seeds came from the Himalaya Mountains in India, where the "Tree of God" is famed in song and story. The trees are approximately 100 feet tall and have a spread of 40 to 50 feet.
