Connie and Price begin the interview discussing how the book is for outsiders in any corporation, not just African-Americans. Price proceeds to discuss his own background and how his experiences motivated him to write the book, and how the stories in the book offer lessons on how to build supportive relations with colleagues and be part of the bottom line. They then go on to discuss a range of topics covered in the book. They close the interview with Price relating whom his mentors have been throughout his life, and Connie requests an interview for her copy of the book.
