Description
Photograph of the wide Colorado River wending through desert terrain, April 14, 1934. Dark trees hang over the bank on the left while their leaves float in the rippling river at center. The trees continue around the bank which curves around the river's edge until it bends out of view to the right in the background. A rounded hillside stained with spots of grass stands in the background on the left while faint peaks continue along the riverside into the distance. Photoprint reads "I think this is a lovely picture of the Colorado River. The old mining town of pieaebo[?] was situated on the point. You may keep this".
