Description
This circa 1909 postcard features an image of Sacramento’s United Brethren Church under the pastorate of Thomas J. Bauder and located at Nineteenth and I streets. The original church on 4th Street between K and L was founded in 1875. The congregation moved to Fourteenth and K streets in 1888 following the sale of their old building. Construction on the building depicted on the postcard began in January of 1905 and finished a few months later.
