Photograph of an exterior view of the Mount Palomar Observatory in San Diego County, ca.1935. The massive domed building is at center. There is an open rectangular doorway with a wide set of steps leading into the building at the base of the structure. The dome is shiny and is reflecting the sunlight. The hill in front of the observatory is covered with an assortment of small bushes and trees. Two rocks can be seen in the foreground at right.
