Description
Winners of the best lawn contest at the Jordan Downs Housing Project, announced at a Resident Council Flower Show on July 8, 1949. Mr. Griggs, Manager, reads off the list of winners while Essex Jenkins, President of the Resident Council, presents them with flower pots. The project is located at 9900 Grape Street in the Watts section of Los Angeles. It has 700 units.
