Description
Blue Lodge apron worn in Maine during revolutionary times. Light colored silk apron with blue border and waist ties. Depicted on the apron are sun with a face at top center, two columns with the letters J & B, black and white checkered floor, altar, compass, square, sword, beehive, and other masonic symbols. Note: Despite this given history, the iconography closely resembles French aprons of the 18th and 19th century.
