Photograph caption dated December 9, 1964 reads "Paul Ford inspects the set of 'Never too late,' with Penny Singleton and Lyle Talbot opening night at the Huntington Hartford Theater." The play, by Sumner Long, was slated for a three week run at the theater in Hollywood. Talbot and Ford played the lead role in various productions. The theater, currently the Ricardo Montalban Theater, is located at located at 1615 North Vine St. Lyle Talbot was an American actor on stage and screen, best known for his long career in film from 1931 to 1960 and for his frequent appearances on television in the 1950s and 1960s. He played Joe Randolph for ten years in the situation comedy, "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet."
