Description
Bound in black faux alligator skin. The title, "The People of the Abyss," is embossed on the cover in gold. Photos taken by Jack London during his visit to London to report on the poverty of the East End.
Corners of front cover are worn. Spine is quite worn, pieces of cover material missing from the top and bottom. Light wear on surface. Sticker reading, "oa 40265," is affixed to the upper left corner of back cover. Captions were written by Eliza Shepard. Several pages have been detached, and are now tipped into album. Pages 76-100 are blank. Captions were written by Eliza Shepard.
