Description
Pictured is the Charles LeRoy Loman School for the Physically Handicapped, located at 12815 Saticoy Street in North Hollywood. The gleaming new $100,000 pastel-hued school was dedicated with parents, school officials and Dr. Charles LeRoy Loman - the orthopedic surgeon for whom the school was named - all in attendance. Dr. Alexander J. Stoddard, superintendent of schools, lauded the work of Dr. Loman in his dedicatory address; Mrs. Elma Brown has been named principal. Photograph dated May 24, 1950.
