Description
"Wonder World Stores of Oakland opened its second Sacramento area general merchandise store yesterday, in the Southgate Commercial Park at Florin Road and the South Sacramento Freeway ... this one sports an A frame entry which reaches 40 feet into the sky. The Wonder World sign had not been lifted into place on the structure when this picture was taken. The building has 113,000 square feet of floor space, is of tiltup concrete construction with panels of exposed aggregate. It was built by Woodcrest Construction, Inc., and designed by Melvin R. List, Sacramento architect"
