Description
The home of Lola Montez in Grass Valley. Reportedly the building had been condemned but local groups were attempting to save it as a historical site. The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on October 20, 1975 states: "The historic home as it appeared last year before it was razed. The original one-story structure has been partially rebuilt."
