Annotation translation: "The Africans of the Grassfields worship an invisible deity who lives in the earth - Ndemsi. The build grass huts for Ndemsi in which they make offerings of food and drink. Beside the worship of Ndemsi they have an ancestor cult." - "Vollbehr Art Postcards, Cameroon." Annotation: "Die Graslandneger verehren eine unsichtbare, in der Erde wohnende Gottheit, Ndemsi genannt. Dieser bauen sie Grashütten, in denen sie Speise- und Trankopfer darbringen.
