Description
Photograph of a fountain outside of Mission Santa Barbara, ca.1901(1910?). The elaborately carved fountain is in the foreground, and its water reflects the image of the two friars standing near it, as well as the image of the two-towered mission facade. The priests are dressed in dark robes with hoods, and both are wearing light colored ropes around their waists. The arched walkways of the mission are visible behind the fountain, and in the distance there are mountains.
