Photograph of San Francisco's remaining business street, Fillmore Street, after the 1906 earthquake and fire, ca.1906. The street, lined with cable car tracks, is filled with pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Carriages and buggies can be seen moving about the street or parked near the sidewalks. Many of the buildings are at least three-stories tall and feature numerous cant windows that hang above the sidewalks. Legible signs include: "Fastidio Cigars", "Chronicle, main office, [...]", "labor counsel [...]", "M. Schwarz Glazier, phone white 3511, 1814 Filmore", "law offices", "Keisters [...]".
