Photograph shows blast debris from a bomb that was left in the men's restroom on the second floor of the Federal Building, located at 300 N. Los Angeles Street. The bomb detonated in the afternoon as thousands of workers were preparing to leave for the day. The blast ripped a 4-foot hole through the wall of the restroom, killing an 18-year-old man who worked in the building. Photograph dated January 31, 1971.
