Description
Photograph of Palm Canyon, showing people sitting on rocks and walking along paths, May 1933. In the extreme foreground, small rocks and brush from palm trees can be seen strewn about the ground. At center, a small group of people can be seen near a small boulder. A man, at left, can be seen standing behind the rock. A woman wearing a small hat and an older gentleman wearing a cap can be seen sitting on the rock looking to the side. Slightly in the background to the right, another man and woman can be seen sitting on a boulder beside a small palm tree. Beyond the tourists, tall palm trees are visible in the background. Many of the palm trees appear fully-grown with thick, solid trunks. Rocks and boulders are seen beside many of the trunks. In the extreme background, a row of palm trees is visible near another small group of people. Mountain hills can be seen extending from the left to the far right.
