Martha Kristine Fagereng, maiden name Hoeihilder, was a missionary in Madagascar from 1893-1896 and 1903-1937. She married Edvard Fagereng 1862-1899, a missionary in Madagascar from 1893-1896, in Morondava, Madagascar on July 28, 1895. Valborg Amalie Wersland was a missionary in Madagascar from 1927-1940. She married Thollef Steen, born in 1906, in USA in 1942. -- There are tamarind trees in the garden. The Malagasy name: Kily trees.
