Miss Garner;
Born in Michigan in 1887 to John Quincy and Mary Jane (Miner) Adams. Married Herman Hastings Garner in 1912. Received her A.B. from Pomona College where she majored in English. With her husband founded the Padua Hills Theatre in 1930; directed and wrote plays for the Mexican Players. She wrote books and articles on California and Mexico. Lived in Claremont on ranch called El Alisal.
