Aerial view of Axelson Manufacturing Co., located at Gage Road and Union Street in the city of Montebello; view is looking southeast, toward the Rio Hondo. Axelson Manufacturing Co., a division of U.S. Industries, are makers of airplane components, including landing gear. A million-dollar, 110,000-square-foot addition was completed in August of 1956 at the 35-acre factory site. Photograph dated November 14, 1956.
