View looking southwest shows gateway in stucco wall and lush landscaping along front of the two-story, stucco house with tile roof, chimney and attached two-car garage. La Venta Inn is visible in background at far right. Charles H. Cheney (1884-1943) was city planner for the Palos Verdes Project and served on the Palos Verdes Art Jury from its inception in 1922 through 1940.
