Title devised by cataloger. On mount: "Fine [Portraits] by [indecipherable] South [Bethlehem?]" On verso: "This is to certify that this is the photograph of Friend Abraham Yost, [taken in June 1897.] a member of Mt. Morris Council No. 14 O. C. F., of New York City. Friend Yost is a member in good standing and entitled to all the benefits of the Order. Henry C. Birkins, Secretary. Attested Alonzo Howell, Councilor."
