Description
PHOTO: LOS ANGELES COUNTY: PASADENA: HOTELS: RAYMOND View 1 (2009-0001). Entrance to Hotel Raymond showing steps, lamp posts, woman standing at top of stairs -- view 2 (2009-0002). Shows entire front of hotel, man standing in foreground. Built by owner Walter Raymond in Dec. 1901 following the destruction of first Raymond Hotel by fire in 1895. Designed by architects Hunt & Eager of Los Angeles in Mission style. Stucco hotel replaced early wood. Was demolished in 1934.
