Photograph of a horse-drawn carriage near the Devil's Gate rock formation on Belmont Beach in Long Beach, ca.1890. The rock formation is composed of two large, rectangular rocks with a narrow gap between them. The rock at left is larger than the one at right. The ocean is visible in the distance at right. A small horse-drawn carriage can be seen between the Devil's Gate and the ocean at right.
