Photograph of an exterior view of the Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana in disrepair, ca.1887. A long adobe building is pictured at center with most of its spackle having come off and its roof losing its terracotta tiles and collapsing. Multiple doors can be seen in its front, spaced at regular intervals. Piles of scrap wood are visible in the yard in front, along with tall, dry grasses.
