Description
First photograph caption dated October 29, 1963 reads "USC end John Brownwood doesn't get many passes thrown to him because he plays the tight end position for the Trojans, but when he gets the chance he catches the football. Big John, a junior from Lancaster, led all Trojan pass receivers against California Saturday. He caught three for 55 yards in the 36-6 SC win. He was a fullback at Antelope Valley High School."
