Photograph caption dated May 22, 1961 reads "Corky Knight, San Fernando High, is one of 96 prep golfers competing in today's finals. Knight joins the East Valley League swingers at El Caballero Country Club while the West Valley League plays its finals this afternoon at Woodland Hills Country Club. A combined awards banquet is planned after the 18-hole finals at which time the first two teams of both leagues will receive Valley Times TODAY trophies." The country club is in Tarzana.
