Photograph caption dated April 6, 1966 reads, "Aerial view of the pools at the new Spa Hotel (later the Spa Resort & Casino), in the heart of Palm Springs." The hotel was designed by William Cody, Donald Wexler, Richard Harrison, and Philip Koenig and built in 1958. It is owned and operated by the Agua Caliente Tribe of Mission Indians.
