Notation written on the verso dated January 30, 1930 reads, "C.C. Jackson new uniform." Sargeant C.C. Jackson is shown in the new style of uniform adopted by the Los Angeles Police Commission for patrolman. The new uniform is blue with a military belt to hold a gun holster and handcuff containers.
