Caption slip reads: "Daily. Photographer: Richardson. Date: 1952-06-02. Reporter: Swaim. Assignment: Attempt suicide. Pasadena. Fred Kuhn, 48, sitting on parapet of building, threatening to jump as Officer Fred Ludlow approaches from left. Fred Kuhn trying to jump as Officer James O'Keefe grabs from right (may not be visible) and Fred Ludlow helps from left. Police and firemen bring Fred Kuhn down ladder from roof. Police escorting Fred Kuhn down stairs inside of building, his hands cuffed behind him".
