Description
This 1936 postcard shows the inviting Victoria Motor Lodge at 5716 Stockton Boulevard. The longest run of management at the lodge - 1953 to 1980 - came with widowed Italian immigrant Angelina Amoruso and her sons Peter and Vincent, both of whom went on to strong careers in both hospitality and real estate industries in Sacramento and West Sacramento.
