Description
Mrs. Nicholas Young, mother of one of America's most famous war heroes, is shown as she was presented a scroll on April 26, 1946, by Mayor Fletcher Bowron following her arrival here to attend the dedication of the Rodger Young Village named in honor of her son, who gave his life for his country. Left to right, Mrs. Young, Mayor Bowron, Nicola Giulii and Msgr. Thomas J. O'Dwyer.
