Description: Caption reads, "Posse Grounds, August 14, 1949. L to R: Janet Hickey, Harley Adams, Charles Schaefer, Mel Horbeck, Wm. Maddox, Bud Bosque, Curt Bishop, James O'Day, Alice Cano, Fred Hoffman, Glen Neece, Sally Cirigliano, Henry Smith." The mounted unit led the State-wide Admission Day parade on September 9th. They practiced each Sunday at the Sheriff's posse grounds. (From page 6 of the Mounted Unit scrapbook)
