Description
Photograph of the parade of Elks in Santa Ana, showing floats from behind, 1910. The parade is headed away from the viewer, and consists of a succession of floats, including one that bears the word "ELKS". The street is lined with buildings and the sidewalks are packed with observers. There are utility poles running parallel to the street on both sides, with American flags draped from the utility wires over the crowd. The building on the left has a large awning and many of the people watching the parade are doing so from shade it provides.
