Description
Moore worked on countless films in a variety of capacities and was faced with the challenge of rethinking his future in the industry. Although many in the industry may have seen the opportunity of going from director to second unit director as a step backwards, Moore did not. He felt that being an expert in second unit shooting might afford him better opportunities on films down the line and he was right. On location in Spain shooting "Patton" (1970), Moore is seen here lowering himself into a hole that will allow a tank to drive directly over the camera position.
