Description
Profile of Sylvia Murphy, long-time keyboardist for the Thugz, who was hit head-on by a drunk driver while returning from a gig. She suffered grave injuries and is no longer able to perform in public with the band. She moved from Berkeley to the Occidental area in the early 70s and is an alumna of the country rock band, the Big Wheels, and the rockabilly duo, the Doo Wah Ranch Band. She joined the Thugz after dueting with band co-founder Mike Campbell.
