Photographs marked "McCurry Foto Co." in lower right corner. Workers preparing and planting fields (possibly asparagus), leading into distance. "13418" -- handwritten in lower left corner. Sutter Basin Company developed and sold land in Sutter County as part of Sutter Basin Project. Irrigation system of pumping stations, canals, etc. was owned by Sutter Mutual Water Company. Water Company operated on co-operative basis with one share of stock attached to each acre land in Sutter Basin Project. $
