Photograph of San Francisco earthquake damage, showing the ruins of various buildings on Kearney Street looking towards Market Street from Sutter Street, 1906. Five men in dark suits look at the sea of rubble before them from the left foreground. Many buildings in the back still stand in tact, but are still heavily damaged and charred from the fire. Some of the buildings shown include Sherman, Clay and Company Building, Kohler and Chase, the Crocker Building, Chronicle Annex, and the Call Building. Caption reads: "After the San Francisco fire of April 18, 19, 20, '06.
