Description
Published under P.C.D.W. (Perfect Christian Divine Way) Poetry "Wisdom in Rhymes." The author is given as William Riker's wife Lucille Riker. The first stanza reads: Don't hold Man responsible for anything he does, For he is not at fault, in TRUTH he never was; But blame the first, last and only cause "Woman," if you please, Then Man unload your burdens, she will carry them with ease. Man is innocent in acts and deeds, let them be what they may, For woman caused him to do them, or she pointed out the way. It has been so from the very start since Eve gave Adam the apple, And Man, Poor Man, GOD cursed him and sent him out to battle.
