Opening day of the MTA Orange Line at the North Hollywood Metro Red Line Park and Ride, located at 5350 Lankershim Blvd. Metropolitan Transportation Authority CEO, Roger Snoble and Zev Yaroslavsky pose for a picture in front of an Orange Line bus, also called Metro Liner. Roger Snoble was hired as the new MTA Chief Executive Officer on June 20, 2001. He is one of the top public transit officials in the nation. Zev Yaroslavsky is the Los Angeles County Supervisor for the Third District, elected on June 1994. Prior to that, he served on the Los Angeles City Council from 1975 to 1994. Mr. Yaroslavsky is also an MTA board member. Photo dated: October 29, 2005.
